Dennis Nordman has designed many popular pinball machines, including "Pirates of the Caribbean," "White Water," and the Elvira pinball machines "Elvira and the Party Monsters," and "Stared Stiff."

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Dennis went to school at Ohio State University, where he majored in Industrial Design. In college, Dennis designed a futuristic pinball cabinet which he presented to Bally and was hired as a cabinet designer. Although his career started at Bally, Dennis has also worked for Williams, Mylstar, and Stern Pinball. Dennis has noted Jim Patla and Steve Ritchie as key influences to his pinball career.

Dennis partnered with Greg Freres in 2009 to form "Whizbang Pinball" where they designed the "Whoa Nellie! Big Juicy Melons" limited edition custom pinball machine. Dennis also uses his artistic talent and attention to detail in designing and building custom dollhouses.

Dennis was working for Jersey Jack Pinball, where he contributed to the "Wizard of Oz" pinball machine.
