  • 'Bonus Ball' was awarded to the highest scoring player at the end of multi-player games, usually 30 seconds with an unlimited 'shoot again' during that time.
  • 'Magna-Save', a player controlled electromagnet that could capture the ball and prevent it from going down the outlanes. Extra buttons and relays controlled the Magna-Saves, once used they needed to be earned .

Game-Specific Issues

Early Black Knight machines used a System 6 power supply with an external relay for the GI lighting and had the Transformer mounted in the back box. Later production games use a System 7 power supply with the relay on the power supply board and moved the transformer to the bottom of the cabinet.

Some later Black Knight were marked Limited Edition. Those games used micro switches for the ball trough and ball lock. Some of the Limited Edition games used starburst inserts.
