Main Page/Welcome Back

Hello all, This is Casey letting you know that PinWiki.com is back online again and is fully operational. here is a list of updates that occurred:

• We have added 3 more admins: Firepower, SteveKulpa, and Lloyd Olson (LTG).
• To help prevent spam attacks before they start, we now have a CAPTCHA installed and email verification setup.
• By request, you can now upload PDFs to PinWiki but, as always please keep the uploaded content to only material that isn't copyrighted.

Many behind the scenes fixes and clean ups occurred, helping the site run smoother, and making future changes/maintenance go quicker.

We do have a few things coming soon for the website, that we are busy working on:

• Chuck Hess from NuCore should have a mirrored version of the site setup soon.
• All repair guides will be locked and any new content to be added will be reviewed by our admins before being posted. This will only apply to repair guides, and as long as pages stay free of vandalism, this we become our permanent policy. More info on how that will work coming soon.
• Discussion has occurred about how to handle giving credit to those who have done work in creating our wiki pages. The agreement was that "signing" pages/paragraphs with your name is not the way to do it. The history of any page will give you credit to what you have done and we ask that credit stays off the main page to avoid confusion. Remember, we are a community trying to help one another.

Remember, YOU can get an extra ball, replay, and high score all on one credit!
