I've been repairing pins since my first acquisition in 1991 (Gottlieb Centigrade 37). My collection of 60 or so games is split between Gottlieb EMs and a mix of solid state games.

Newest game: 1995 Williams Attack from Mars

Chris, blanking signal is actually a periodic signal I know you're in the process of editing, but it is an important distinction. Obviously it's high most of the time, but it dips low at least once every display interrupt (to clear the displays).
If only it worked as desired to prevent coil lockout (*sigh*)

Playground:
Using a SIMTEK STK12C68-SF45 in various manufacturer's boards Board modifications:
Sega or Stern -- the HSB pin number 26 needs to be removed.
Data East -- remove HSB pin number 26, and make a link between +5V and B+.
Williams -- some games use larger RAM circuits. To be able to use this NVRAM, add resistor 1.5k on R93, and remove O ohms resistor on W3.

Gottlieb image caption edit
Why did you revert the edit to the caption on the sys80 page? Was it in place for a particular reason that I may have missed? --ForceFlow (talk) 17:42, 9 November 2016 (CST)
I rolled that back because either Palson or I put that in there to add a bit of levity. I like to insert an "easter egg" from time to time to make the document more readable. I was going to list the reason when I rolled it back but the darned roll back feature doesn't allow that. It just rolls the change back.

I understand technical stuff can sometimes get dry and boring to read, but honestly, to me, it sounded like the writer was calling the reader stupid for not noticing the jumper wire in the photo. Since it wasn't written in a professional way, it seemed prudent to address it. --ForceFlow (talk) 13:33, 10 November 2016 (CST)
